I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone for a successful commencement of full instruction this week. It was wonderful to see students settling into their routines, actively engaging in learning, and having a strong understanding of expectations, routines and learning dispositions which were explored, practised and taught throughout out Starting Right program.
A reminder that next Tuesday, we will be holding our Meet and Greet Sessions. Each student has been allocated a scheduled time to meet their child’s teacher. The purpose of these sessions is to foster positive communication and partnership between families and teachers, ensuring we are working together to support each child’s learning journey. If your scheduled time is not suitable, please contact the Admin Office to reschedule. We look forward to meeting you all and building strong connections.
Exciting progress is underway, with demolition commencing this week on the fire-affected buildings. We are pleased to report that the timeline for completion is likely to be mid-year. It’s encouraging to see this project moving forward, and we appreciate your continued patience and support during this period of transition
This week, Mr. Nolan and Mr. Alex attended a Maker Space Workshop in Darwin. Maker Space is an innovative learning environment where students can explore, create, and engage in hands-on activities to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our 3D printers on Eylandt, which will introduce our students to the exciting world of STEM and 3D printing capabilities. We are committed to enhancing our curriculum with these new technologies and fostering a culture of innovation. Stay tuned for some exciting developments ahead!
A friendly reminder that the school bell rings at approximately 7:54 am to signal the beginning of the school day. During this time, students will either be lining up with their teachers or entering their classrooms to get organised and ready for learning by 8:00 am. If your child arrives after 8:00 am, please ensure they visit the Admin Office to collect a late note before proceeding to their class.
