2025 Term 3 Week 10 Newsletter
Message from the Principal
Dear Families,
As we reach the end of Term 3, I would like to take a moment to thank our students, staff, and families for their continued energy, commitment, and support. It has been a busy term filled with learning, creativity, and community spirit, and we are excited to head into term 4 with clarity and purpose.
What an amazing evening our Arts and Culture Festival turned out to be! The atmosphere was buzzing with creativity, community spirit, and food! A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making the festival such a memorable event: the Biodiversity Rangers and the GEBIPCAC OCOC team for running engaging and educational workshops, our staff and students for their energy and participation, the families who provided delicious food and supported the festival by purchasing from the stalls, the teachers for preparing stalls and performances, and most importantly, our students, whose talents made the night truly spectacular. Events like these remind us of the power of community, school culture, and learning coming together.
Last Friday our school also took part in R U OK? Day. R U OK? Day is an important opportunity to check in with one another, start meaningful conversations, and remind our students and staff that support is always available.
As we look ahead, staff have been engaging in a collaborative planning day in preparation for the final term of the 2025 school year. This ensures that we continue to deliver high-quality learning experiences for all our students.
Please remember that the school holidays begin after this week. Students return for Term 4 on Tuesday, 7th October. We hope all families enjoy a safe, restful, and refreshing break.
We are also inviting our school community to have their say on how upcoming fundraising money should be used. A feedback form has been sent on SeeSaw and made available online. We encourage all families to take a few minutes to share their ideas and priorities—your input helps guide our decisions and ensures funds go towards projects and resources that matter most to our community.
Finally, we extend our warmest congratulations to Mr. Zane and his wife Stevie, who celebrated the safe arrival of their daughter Remy last week. We are thrilled for them and wish their family all the happiness in this exciting new chapter.
Term 4 promises to be a busy and exciting one with upcoming events, learning opportunities, and end-of-year celebrations. We look forward to welcoming everyone back ready for another term of growth, achievement, and community connection.
